40th Anniversary

BYO (BANGLADESHI YOUTH ORGANISATION) was established by new arrival young people from Bangladesh and Pakistan, making Bradford their home back in 1982.

We are celebrating our 40th Year (1982 to 2022) on Wednesday 31 August – 12 to 5PM. First Segment, 12 to 2pm – formal event with video premier, history of BYO and case studies of people who have benefited over the years. We will be joined by Lord Mayor, Cllr Martin Love to cut the cake and celebrate with us.

Second Segment – 2.30 to 5pm – range of activities, street party and celebrations outside on Cornwall Road / Carpark outside BYO building. We will be joined by Leader of the council, Cllr Susan Hinchliffe.
